Growing in Faith

Congregationalists recognize worship as central to faith development.  Freedom to worship and study the Scriptures is extremely important to us in the growth of our faith. While focused attention on Scripture is essential, we are able to further nurture our faith by working and serving together in community as a people God has called together in love. 

 

The Florence Congregational Church offers a variety of ministries and activities to promote faith development including: Sunday morning worship, two weekly Bible studies, periodic book studies, workshops, fellowship events, support groups, prayer group, adult and junior choirs, Bell playing and a number of church fairs.   Prayer, support and care are strong attributes of the Florence Church members who strive to grow lasting relationships with each other.  Honor, praise and gratitude is offered to God as a response to our growing faith in God.
