Sunday School

Our children's program runs from September through June. Sunday morning classes are available for children pre-K through grade 5. (Children ages 0-3 are cared for in our nursery.) Each Sunday morning the children begin worship with their families in the sanctuary and then leave during the service to attend Sunday School.

Two or more teachers lead each class and encourage children to explore and focus on topics such as love, patience, kindness, faithfulness, and the different events in Jesus’ life. Lessons are enhanced and reinforced with activities incorporating music, art, games, food, stories, and prayer. Our lessons help children develop healthy Christian attitudes for home, school, community, and daily life. Children learn to express their faith as they examine new ways of thinking about God and grow in their relationships to Jesus Christ.

Children of all ages are welcome, and encouraged to be an active part of the life of the church in preparation for being the Christian leaders of tomorrow.
