Not-So-Sunrise Easter Service

Not a sunrise service - we like sleep too! But this is a service to wake up our weary souls!

This is a participatory, all-ages Easter gathering that tells the whole story: from the first light of creation, through the prophets, through a teacher who healed people and got in trouble with empire - and what happened when empire tried to put out his light.

What to expect: Hands-on activities you can take home, movement (no sitting still required!), and a family-friendly telling of the Easter story with deep respect for the Earth and all religious traditions. We will make quiet moments and LOUD JOYFUL moments together!

If you haven't felt comfortable in church before, but you want to do something for your spirit, this might be the Easter for you. If you’ve been to our Short Attention Span Christmas Eve service, this will be similar: these stories are at the core of life in the West, and yet, do we really understand them? Old stories told in fresh ways that make sense is what we do. You’re invited.
